1/ Niels Anders

Un estudiante del Instituto de Biodiversidad y Dinamica de Ecosistemas (IBED) de la Universidad de Holanda (Niels Anders), está buscando un lugar y una institución anfitrión para hacer una pasantía de 3 meses desde julio. Su interes está principalmente en modelos hidrológicos y sensores remotos en áreas montanosos. Niels ya conoce Suramerica (ha viajado entre Chile, Bolivia y Perú) y ha hecho investigaciones en el campo, en los Alpes.

Puedo hacer constancia que su preparación es de muy alto nivel y que su profesor-supervisor es una autoridad en el tema a nivel mundial (Willem Bouten).

2/ Sara Silva Taveira

Hello, my name is Sara Taveira and I am from Portugal. 

My first degree in Environmental Management provided me with a good base of knowledge of current environmental issues. It has encourage my views in an interdisciplinary perspective on environmental issues, made me understand the role of institutions, organisations and other stakeholders in managing and regulating human impact on the environment and also concept of sustainability-strong economies, effective societies and healthy environments. The Ecological Economics MA reinforced my perceptions, with more analytical tools and research methods.

I have done a Internship in the European Commission, DG Agriculture Unit Policy Analysis and Overall Approach, in which I have developed a project on the economic repercussions of environmental legislation in the European Union. It has given a international vision, giving me a practical understand of the necessity of cooperation between different institutions and countries. I believe that my main characteristics can be summarised as having a capacity for in-depth analysis, being a good analytical thinker, and having an excellent ability to work in groups.

I"m extremely motivated and enthused to start my professional career, so that I can apply my knowledge. For all these reasons, I strongly believe that my services can be helpful. I am writing to you now to ask if you may be interested in me.
