The Division serves as a compass for the program, conducting research to define strategic directions, monitor our progress and increase our impact in each of our regional settings. It will: develop improved methods for impact targeting and needs/opportunities assessment; adopt and validate a broader conceptual framework for promoting agricultural innovation and assessing impact; identify impact indicators and methodologies for measuring and monitoring these indicators; and develop strategies and tactics to add value to CIP"s commodity research. It will assist the center position itself to participate in national, regional and international innovation systems.

The position: CIP seeks an accomplished scientist as Leader to head this Research Division and lead the center in the implementation of the pro-poor research and development cycle.
