Master’s Degree Program in Environmental Policy and Law

This Master's Degree Program is a multidisciplinary two-year program taught in English at the University of Eastern Finland. The program combines group teaching and independent research with the objective of providing participants with professional skills in environmental law and policy. Participants may choose between two alternative majors: a) Natural Resources Governance or b) Environmental and Climate Change Law.

  • Climate Law and Carbon Markets
  • Food and Society

Study & application essentials

  • No tuition fees are charged for degree studies, regardless of citizenship
  • Two-year Master's degree program (120 ECTS) with interactive study methods
  • Two alternative majors: environmental policy or environmental law
  • Minimum admission criteria: Appropriate Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree and proof of English language proficiency
  • Application period: 7 January - 18 February 2015
