Vacancy: Senior Network Officer

GWP is recruiting a Senior Network Officer to work in the Network Operations Unit, to be based at the global secretariat in Stockholm.

The successful candidate is expected to have considerable experience within sustainable water management and development at national and/or regional levels.

This position encompasses the following areas: 

1. Advising and supporting the GWP Network, GWP Technical Committee and GWP Global Secretariat in the development and implementation of a global thematic focus area of the GWP Strategy as well as supporting GWP’s activities on the post 2015 SDGs and related agendas; and

2. Facilitating and guiding the work of the Regional Water Partnerships and Country Water Partnerships in Caucasus and Central and Eastern Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean regions, respectively, and addressing the transboundary waters cooperation theme.
