Connectivity

This presentation presents examples that demonstrate the relevance of connectivity for runoff generation. These examples are largely from semi-arid areas in Southern Europe, relevant examples from páramo areas lacking completely. Emphasis is on impacts of landuse and concurrent changes in connectivity and their consequences for slope runoff. It is stressed that connectivity is often neglected and not accounted for in existing hydrological models.
