El programa Rufford Small Grants for Nature Conservation (RSGs) invita a pequeños programas y proyectos piloto de conservación en países en desarrollo a concursar por un premio de financiación. Los fondos están disponibles para individuos o pequeños grupos cuyos proyectos tienen una duración entre 12 y 18 meses.

The Rufford Small Grant for Nature Conservation |
Rufford Small Grants for Nature Conservation (RSGs) are aimed at small conservation programmes and pilot projects. They were set up in 1999 by The Rufford Maurice Laing Foundation. On this website you can track the progress of hundreds of supported projects around the world, and download application documents for new projects.
RSGs are available to individuals and small groups. We generally look for projects of about a year"s duration. Applications from non-first world countries are strongly encouraged.

Before applying for a Grant, please read these criteria carefully to determine whether your project is eligible.You are also encouraged to review the current RSG projects to see if there is already one in your area before you apply.

- A grant of up to £5,000 available for nature conservation projects
Who/what is eligible?
- Individuals or small groups
- Projects outside the first world
Critical components of the application
- Impact must be pragmatic, measurable and long lasting
- The grant must make up the majority of the total budget
- Funds must be used predominantly in the field
- The application will not be reviewed unless the application form is filled out in full and three references are submitted
- The project should generally be approx. 12-18 months duration
