Jonathan Woolley has 29 years¡¯ professional experience and residence in developing countries. He worked first as a researcher and trainer in national, regional and international agricultural institutions. He then focussed on the preparation and review of development projects that addressed agricultural research and extension, through a wide range of consultancies for multilateral and bilateral agencies, private firms and international organisations. More recently he has managed large agricultural research projects directed at institutional reform and increasing research capability. He has significant practical experience in 20 Latin American and Caribbean countries, 14 in anglophone, francophone and lusophone Africa, six in Asia and eight in Oceania.
