Call for abstracts for 'Mountains 2016'

Abstracts for the I International Conference on Research for Sustainable Development in Mountain Regions are still being accepted. Researchers, practitioners, experts and decision-makers are invited to submit abstracts of their work on the topics of the conference for oral or poster presentations, following the directions on the Mountains 2016 website.

Abstract submission deadline: 7 April 2016
Review of abstracts: April 2016
Announcement of results (abstracts): May 2016
Early bird registration: June 2016

Registration for the I International Conference on Research for Sustainable Development in Mountain Regions and the X European Mountain Convention is also open. Early bird registration is until June 2016. Take additional advantage of the "Mountains 2016 Special" when registering for both events.

The I International Conference on Research for Sustainable Development in Mountain Regions is a scientific meeting aiming to share and discuss methods, tools, results, applications, trends and challenges in research in mountain systems. This first conference in the series will be organized under the theme “Ecosystem services and sustainable development”.

In conjunction with the X European Mountain Convention, the I International Conference on Research for Sustainable Development in Mountain Regions is part of Mountains 2016, an international event aiming to promote sustainable development in mountains, based on science, knowledge and innovation.
