World Wide Views Day on Climate and Energy

On 6 June 2015, hundreds of citizens reflecting the demographic diversity of their countries will attend day-long meetings to discuss climate change and energy issues, express their views and make up their minds about what they want their governments to do to ensure a sustainable future. This pubic consultation on climate change and energy is the largest ever organized and is in support of an ambitious new, universal climate change agreement to be agreed at the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 21) to the UNFCCC in Paris, in December 2015. The results from the event will be ready in June and will be presented at COP 21. The project is initiated by the Danish Board of Technology Foundation, Missions Publiques, the UNFCCC Secretariat and the French National Commission for Public Debate in partnership with World Wide Views.
