New online source for essential background information on EU and UN policy options

Tuesday, 7 April, 2015 - 10:49

We hereby announce the launch of a new online knowledge platform called Climate Policy Info Hub, accessible at: http://climatepolicyinfohub.eu

What is the Climate Policy Info Hub?

The Climate Policy Info Hub is an online knowledge platform that makes information on climate policy options at international and EU level easily accessible. The aim is to address knowledge needs of policy-makers, business and civil society, and to support informed science-based EU climate policy-making.

What does it do?

The Climate Policy Info Hub provides information in the form of brief and clear but comprehensive knowledge packages on dedicated topics of interest, identified following an exercise involving a survey and targeted interviews and complemented with essential background.

You need a quick overview of climate targets in the EU? Or you want to find out about stakeholder perspectives on the EU ETS? The Climate Policy Info Hub gives the answers and provides insights on consequences of possible climate policy directions. The articles on the platform cover a range of issues and sectors that are related to climate policy, and also provide the necessary background information. The platform offers links to relevant upcoming events and a glossary.

Over the course of the coming weeks, additional articles will be added to provide a more complete knowledge landscape on EU and UN level climate policy options.

Who is it from?

The Climate Policy Info Hub is the outcome of the EU-funded POLIMP project and was elaborated by a group of independent climate policy researchers, led by Dutch organisation Joint Implementation Network (JIN).

Concept, design, programming and content production management of the Knowledge Platform Climate Policy Info Hub were provided by Ecologic Institute in Berlin.
